On day 2 of our houseboat adventure we found another quiet cove to drop anchor in for the evening.
The weather and the water continued to be amazing.
You know if I can relax in it, the water temperature is very mild.
Our cove faced west with a lovely view of the setting sun.
Our last day was Sunday, but we had until afternoon to find our way back to the dock, so we weren’t in much hurry. The kids played Skyjo over breakfast.
After a while we honored the Lord’s Day with worship songs and a Scripture passage.
Then it was back to water play once again.
Nothing lasts forever, so we started the journey homeward.
It was the perfect length of time really—plenty of water fun…but we were all ready to get a good shower and dry clothes.
