My last week, in a sense, of summer freedom passed in a flurry of visiting the fair, the pool, some friends’ game night, and Grandma’s house. I was determined to start my teacher inservice after that and face the always-horrifying end-of-summer school room.
The day I considered my last day of summer vacation, Caleb and I biked to the other park together, he with his r/c boat, and me with my camera.
After hanging out with my friend the professional photographer at the champs swim meet, where we were both on deck taking pictures for our respective teams, I was inspired by our conversation to get out my intimidating macro lens and try to learn how to use it a little better.
