Jason found us the world’s most awesome cabin, so we spent peak foliage week in the mountains, working and schooling with a million-dollar view.
We had about a 220º mountain view from the back deck, so watching the sunrise in the cold was totally worth it.

My favorite feature of the house was the two-sided fireplace between the living and dining rooms. It was luxurious, warm, and gorgeous. And before I had even brought my first load of luggage into the house, Jeddy had scaled it, followed shortly by his impressionable younger siblings.

Our first full day there was Saturday, so we did a lot of lounging in pj’s and alternately enjoying the quiet and the game room.
