2020 is looking great already



When I booked Jason and myself a New Year's Eve dinner reservation and overnight stay at the fancy inn downtown, I expected it to be pretty nice. 


But nothing prepared me for the delight that was dinner's second course.




"Halibut cheeks" in curry sauce.  


Dinner:  $75.


Wine pairing:  $20.


Ringing in the New Year by stifling explosive laughter while the waiter solemnly describes the tenderness of his "halibut cheeks":  


Priceless.
